I messed around with
levels and
colour balance and
opacity of
layers, and
transitions effects. The flame started out as smoke, and I took it through
liquify and made it flames. I
erased pieces of my monster,
posterized it, selected some bits with the
magic wand tool, filled them in with a green base colour. I then threshold'ed it and brought the balance to 100%. I selected the black and filled it in with the green base. I erased the left over bits, and dragged my monster on to the nebula background, along with the other image, I then flatten the layers and converted to jpeg
